The Counseling Center office is housed at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church. Samaritan NPS Counselors are all clinically trained, professionally certified, and licensed.

Mary Jo Greenway, N.C.C., L.M.H.C. Received her Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from Arkansas State University, is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association and American Mental Health Counselors Association. Her clinical interests include, depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, attention disorders, relationship and communication issues, and life transitions. Mary Jo has experience in training foster and adoptive parents before child placement and adds another dimension to the family services that Samaritan NPS can offer the children, adolescents, individuals and families of our community. Samaritan NPS is a fee based service geared toward all individuals. In order for low income people to access the counseling services, sometimes they need their fees reduced. This is accomplished when the therapist draws from a storehouse fund.
